Asiya bint Muzahim
Asiya bint Muzahim is a revered figure in Islamic tradition, known for her piety, strength, and unshakeable faith. She lived in ancient Egypt and was the wife of the Pharaoh at the time of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). Despite her husband’s tyranny and disbelief, Asiya is remembered for her devotion to Allah and her compassion towards Moses, whom she adopted as her own son.

Wife of the Pharaoh: Asiya was the wife of the Pharaoh of Egypt during the time of Prophet Moses. Despite her husband’s oppressive rule and arrogance, she was known for her kindness and faith.
Adoption of Moses: When Moses was a baby, his mother sent him down the Nile in a basket to save him from the Pharaoh’s decree to kill all newborn Hebrew boys. Asiya found the basket and adopted Moses as her own son, saving his life.
Devoted Believer: Asiya was a devoted believer in Allah. Despite her husband’s disbelief and persecution of the Israelites, she held fast to her faith.
Opposition to the Pharaoh: When the Pharaoh claimed to be a god, Asiya opposed him and declared her belief in the one true God, Allah.
Martyrdom: When her faith was discovered, Asiya was tortured by the Pharaoh and his men. Despite the intense pain, she did not renounce her belief in Allah and died a martyr.
Model of Faith: Asiya is regarded as one of the four greatest women in Islam, alongside Khadija bint Khuwaylid, Fatima bint Muhammad, and Maryam bint Imran (Mary, mother of Jesus).
Prayer for Paradise: It is narrated that during her torture, Asiya prayed to Allah: “My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise.” This prayer is mentioned in the Quran (66:11) and is a testament to her faith and strength.
